You can sort of see all the pieces falling into place. I frankly don't know how successful this effort will be, but the intent behind it is worth nothing. There are particular messages MAGA wants to inundate the country with, while this effort to consolidate tremendous wealth among the top-most elite at just the moment where the world temperature has breached the 1,5 C mark. (I never believed for two seconds that the top conservatives in this country--or the world for that matter--didn't believe in global warming).

I'm sure T would be delighted if Hollywood (and Disney, Netflix and all the major studios) sent the unconscious message that everything is going great and that we need to calm down and distract ourselves from where all our money is going. And just maybe the obsession with the open, unpopulated spaces of Greenland and Canada isn't idle stupidity or a joke?
