5. I've seen two different stories of houses that survived

the fire(s) and had neighbour's behind them who were not so lucky. Then what was left of the destroyed homes put so much pressure on the surviving houses below them that they split in half.

Saw a report on water from burst pipes are in the mix too. But yeah it is that the foliage is gone and not holding the hills together. It will be worse if it rains.
