I think that Putin placed Elon Musk as Trump's shadow. I believe that Musk will hold Trump accountable if he goes against Putin's wishes.

We shall see who wins the fight between Bannon and Musk, my money is on Musk.

Putin will allow Trump to grift all he wants, but Putin will make the big decisions, enforced by Musk.
