8. I had this same thought when he was in office the first time.

Not as profoundly so as the Professor, but I have questioned whether or not he is truly "lying", as I was never sure if he knew the difference between the truth and what he proclaimed.

I doubt that even if he had electrodes placed on certain parts of his body, should he give the wrong answer when questioned, that he would have the ability to discern the truth. And that is scary.
