5. She picks up what no one else is covering

For example, the "BridgeGate" story regarding Chris Christie. (There are many other instances like that.)

She doesn't rely on "The news of the day."

It's not really that hard to see the difference between her reporting and that of all others. She's a true "Journalist" in every sense of the word.
