We scapegoat media, the establishment, the parties to blame for why progressives hide out and keep silent in forums like this to preach to the choir. We have trained ourselves to be powerless. For a party that professes to believe in grassroots, it is surprising how we keep on asking for some topdown approach.

It is not like Mitch McConnell or Trump are spending the morning in a school board. And the MAGA types are also heckling Republicans on the Board if they are inclined to vote for anything that deviates from hard right myth.

Progressive self deception as an excuse for our inaction is the reason why we will lose. Watching this board as folks proudly talk about how they avoid MAGA types and scapegoat the media, establishment, corporations, etc., but neglect to even show up at a local school board to confront the ignorance that is being pushed at a grassroots level roots level. We want someone to hold our hand and do it for us.
