One party supports and amplifies their base, while the other actively scorns, mocks, and allows open hostility towards theirs in the hopes of picking up some “good” republicans.

After a campaign of demoralizing your base, there’s no wonder they find it hard to show up to vote. The grassroots level also includes anti war protests. We need those young and politically active people’s votes. Instead there were vilified and brutally attacked and called terrorist. Not a strategy for winning.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
