(62,353 posts)12. Most of us on DU know that CA is a net payor
and thst it's time for other states to carry some of the burden for awhile. IRS receipts from CA are going to be extremely lower for awhile with so many unable to work or open businesses.

Other than some excise taxes, the tax money sent to the Federal government comes from individual taxpayers not the state
