Musk isn't slinking away, he got the data and made the changes in leadership and oversight he wanted. They're taking over all the levers of power. Project 2025 is being widely implemented. The heritage foundation continues to do it's work: schedule F, and quietly and finally taking over the military too.
I'm afraid that far from being giddy over a bunch of flashy but almost inconsequential "wins", we should be TERRIFIED of what's happening behind the curtains.
