these events would be followed by a legitimate examination, with the people being given answers to at least the most basic questions.

If we remember 9/11, there were questions about how both towers could have fallen in a way that looked so much like those famous controlled demolitions, and also the WTC 7 building raised the same questions. I can't say that we got 100% conclusive and convincing answers, be the nation certainly had an extended open discussion where people were able to voice their concerns and fears and at least hear what seemed to be expert answers from people who did not seem to have a political dog in the fight.

But these Trump shows quickly turn into a firehose of propaganda, and the media is too terrified to even ask the most basic questions on air.
