I think something is messing with the DU I see. These days I cannot tell if it is tests EarlG and elad doing legitimate tests with non-disruptive DUers.
That’s the thing about the net right. The only time I have ever alerted is on outright Freepers. I have even emailed you.
When I have jury duty I vote to let posts stand mostly because that is easier than voting to remove posts based (unless the context is cryptopgraphy - in which case I have no idea) on personal whims.
I am a “lax grader” unless it is a real issue. Iow where it is really just the obnoxiousness of this overcrowded, morally bankrupt and mentally deficient realities/

I used to be nicer. I am getting pretty fed up stuck with unpleasant people I cannot complain against because technically however lousy their intuitions, priorities they are technically okay.
If you just use the alerting function like an asshole, usually you end up forcing people like me to compromise with and cajole

Okay maybe some of it is ego destroying. But the rest is mucking up my compass.
It will happen over and over again forever.

I hate emulating unpleasant people. That makes it seem as if the unpleasantness is in itself some kind of virtue.

It is not like I gush. But there was a period in my life that ended recently when I was not sure if I am filing complaints and I used to go around reassuring thoroughly dislikable people (more recently up to yesterday) or before that random men that I won’t attack them for being dislikable or male.

Especially men. In fact with men in general in trying to merely say “hey I am not reporting you simply for being male. I’ll report you if it is way more than that.”
I don’t have any use for deception and trickery.

So complicated how we assess people. I think I used to be a woman incorrectly taken to be unpleasant. Maybe superficially but I never shirk on complaints nor confuse serious complaints with mere dislike. Nor seriously cost people time and money.

That I refuse to work with bs is different.

But i do prefer to accredit people I have sympathy for or like over someone who you glumly accept solely as useful in a crisis and not someone you would ever want anything to do with outside nazi germany.

I am no Wodehouse. But if I met a nazi i suppose i would try to understand why they are a Nazi. I had an insight today about Elon Musk.
It is quite possible his dad sexually abused him. It would explain a lot. I trust my instincts only because often they are all I have to assess science adjacent hideous drivel and yeah you can never be sure.

But if i have no sympathy at all for Zuckerberg, Pichai, Nadella, anyone at Google ever except Prof Hennessy (who doesn’t seem stupid nor sleazy at the very least) - they can suck it up and learn.

While I never admired or bought Elon Musk back when all these idiots thought he was a Green genius, after I saw that he wept writing about his dad, I felt kinda sorry for him. I take the net at facevalue as I never go to shady sites and usually a story shows up in multiple places if true.

My parents have always been my one source of support. I am an only child but I am not spoilt.
My sanity is in part thanks to the unconditional support of my mom and dad and boy have I needed it.

Initially I thought Josh Hawley because I hate TikTok and Google, Matt Stoller (whose assays into the right are more dubious than Troy’s) likes him. I saw an angry interchange between Stoller and Alec Karakatsanis and Briahna Joy Gray. In the end I agreed with Stoller as tech creep fueled prison reform is vile. But Hawley with his anti abortion affordability? No

I don’t know. Ultimately I came to the conclusion that maybe one should stick with hatrack as he is the most decent type of elder so these terrifying non choices can be avoided

My mental health has only suffered due to human and machinic drivel.

They can be sure of fairness but not a particle of civility or engagement.

My courtesy is just that. It is not anything more.
