Most coffee drinkers don't even know about the fact that the coffee economy (now that we don't import oil) is based on coffee being America's largest single import -- and neither does Trump. Tariffs on coffee are like the British king's greedy tariff on tea which began the Revolution. A coffee tariff could prod a similar result now.
Trump's "a little disturbance" is the lie about tariffs being imposed as a "national security" measure.
Lawrence's folding in Trudeau's great, leaderly statement, "Your government is doing this to YOU" was a masterclass about how Trump's stupidity wrecks both domestic and his own trade economics.
