Don't think she in any way nuanced that McBride caved. She said that everyone has to choose their battles and hills to die on because when you are in private places, some people get violent. She gave McBride credit for reading the room and not letting the garbage land on her.

I wish great success for both of them, they have their heads in the right place for the work they have been elected to do. Others just want to make a wedge issue out of it.
