I take pain medication now and then for extreme back pain. [View all]

Currently I take Hydrocodone and it works well when I need it. I don't abuse it but it gets me out of bed when I am having a bad pain day. With that said, I am looking for a Medicare part D plan since I am going on medicare in April and all of them that show on the medicare website say they don't cover this drug, they don't cover the metaxalone I take either. What are my options here? I am finding that medicare is not what everyone says it is who want medicare for all, it is expensive and if you have any issues it does not cover what you need.

Is it true that it doesn't cover cancer treatments either? What a mess this is.
