Medicare Supplemental Insurance [View all]

am enrolled in traditional Medicare, have 5 months to select a Medicare Supplemental policy. focusing on Plans G and N, and the high-deductible Plan G. my health is good and I'm fortunate to have pretty good means. high-deductible seems appealing to me, as its cost is low and covers me over the $2800 deductible. seems like exactly the situation insurance (big financial hit) is for. but when researching plans, virtually every website seems to steer visitors to more expensive plans (I wonder why, lol). I'm going to call Medicare for advice on this issue in the very near future. but if anyone has been down this path and cares to share their experience, I'd really welcome it. thanks

and just to be crystal clear, not interested in any discussion of Medicare "Advantage"
