I believe the current version is 133.0.3. Unfortunately I’m not sure what I can do if changes aren’t backwards compatible with old versions of browsers, and yours is around eight years old, which as you say is pretty old.

Is the reason you haven’t upgraded Firefox because you want to get a new laptop first? If so, my recommendation would be to not wait any longer to update the software. DU aside, you may be creating a security issue for yourself. Updating your browser regularly means you get patches to protect against the latest security threats.

You probably cannot update the version you have to the latest version because it’s too old, but you can download the latest version from https://mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new

If you don’t want to do this, I understand. But unfortunately if the problem is specific to your current browser, I don’t know how to fix it…
