They want to hire someone who will make them money, that is why they are hiring. Find out what it will take to make them money and you will be ahead of most. Salary I want to earn as much as you think I am worth and continue to be worth more! What they don't want to hear is how much sick leave do I get and how much vacation time will I have. Many years ago I was asked on a job application driving a garbage truck and sling garbage in the back of it, if I was a member of the communist party. I put down no because they were not militant enough for me I am an anarchist! I got the job anyway .but I don't recommend doing that.
