I wonder what percentage of women who answered with "I have a boyfriend" actually did, vs how many used the line because they know that men are mire likely to accept rejection if it is due to another man's 'claim' on the woman - but if the rejection comes from her he will not accept it and instead argue, cajole, or otherwise waste her time with whatever lameass "seduction" techniques he is desperate enough to try.
