I agree that it's important to work to change the world now, so that the next generation doesn't have to grow up with this toxic victim-blaming bullshit. The first and most important step is to remind people where the blame lies. Once that sticks, it's easier to get them to see how messed up it is to imply that the survivor is to blame for being assaulted.

But anyway, your story about your SIL reminded me of that hugely successful "don't be that guy" campaign in Canada (?). Do you remember the one I am talking about?
