The funny thing is, I've never felt like feminist women were attacking either me personally or even men in general. I always understood the criticism to be directed at a patriarchal power structure and at men who refuse or somehow cannot see that.
Frankly, I don't like being manipulated by that power structure into perpetuating the oppression of women, so I resist it whenever I am aware of it.
