5. I have dogs. But I am "human" alone.

It helps me conserve my energy and keeps me from many of the perils you mentioned. It has been a little disturbing to me lately but I am wondering if it's because I have been reading too many articles that warn me of the risk of dementia and ill health by not being socially connected.

When I die, I most likely will die absolutely alone as I have few close friends and fewer family members that are close. Of course, at that point, it will make a small difference if any at all.
