2. Mr Edelman uses the standard propaganda technique of equating any critism of Israel as antisemitism. It is not.

I once strongly supported Israel. The image of plucky Israel trying to survive in a sea of Arabs desperately trying to push them into the sea appealed to my sympathy for the underdog. But somewhere along the way, little by little, Israel lost my sympathy. Surviving became an excuse for domination and slaughter. The oppressed became the oppressors. Voicing opposition to the massive killing in Gaza is not antisemitism, just as supporting Israels right to live peacefully does not mean I oppose Islam. We need to get beyond the black and white thinking and admit that Israel and Palestine need peace and security.
