Nor could they. Trying to do these things is not what makes someone a true Christian,but it will make you a failure.Christians are not capable of doing such things neither is anyone else for that matter. So Christians are to look to Christ the one who has loved his neighbor as he loved himself and loved God with all his heart. Christians are to put their faith in him and his righteousness is imputed or accredited to them.
