Never mind that it never happened and that Silver abandoned his model on Nov. 6 of last year. Never mind that supposedly the election is over. Why would he do this?"

What I noticed in the first few days after Nov 5, when I was in complete shock and denial, was the swiftness that Dem leaders agreed on the message that Harris/Walz had lost. There were some extremely close races, and the counting wasn't done.... It didn't make sense to me. Many using the same language in cordially accepting the regrettable loss of our candidate. It was suspicious IMO. I did wonder if something was up, and if so what could it be? Is this what you are referring to as a "communications-managed situation"?

I'm curious how the Coronation Ball at the Watergate is going tonight. I wonder if it fizzled out too? According to Libby, much of the energy and the plan was going to culminate tonight, rolling over into tomorrow. I think I heard it was sold out at $20,000 per person...
