4. There's no such thing as "the whole of Christianity".

There are thousands of denominations, countless "nondenominational" and "independent" churches, and who knows how many millions of individual practitioners, each with their own unique interpretation of what Christianity is supposed to be. A person can believe or disbelieve just about anything, and still be accepted as a Christian of one flavor or another.

It certainly condemns the Bible as any source of morals. Really, the only way to be a decent person and a Christian is to dismiss much of the Bible as false, in one way or another. Many Christians have done this. The SBC resists any such change in their "interpretation" of the Bible, and pretty much only does it to prevent large losses in membership (and their donations, of course).
