But on a more serious note we have one person in this group who calls atheists "intolerant" for ridiculing testaments to faith. So while I'm being sarcastic, there are those who are most definitely serious about it to the point of effectively calling atheists in this group bigots.

There are those who are so attached to their belief system they feel criticism of what their belief system causes and means is an attack on them personally. This sometimes causes them to respond irrationally.
