There are so many institutions that should be broken up. I'm old enough to remember back in the 80's when AT&T was broken up. We had a completely different GOP then. They hadn't been overtaken by the Reagan revolution of congressMEN. There were reasonable GOP Senators and Representatives back then.

Unfortunately, the Reagan era ushered in Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and so many others of their ilk. It ushered in the Gordon Gekko philosophy of capitalism.

It will be generations again now before the pendulum swings back to some degree of sanity.
