Religion

This is what bothers me about mayor Pete. I think he's great, a young guy (I'm 68 and I don't want someone older than
me) I want young-after all, it's their future. The catholic church . What can I say. I was raised catholic, went to catholic schools for 12 years.Never took. Don't have a religious bone in my body. Anyway, the idea that anyone would go by what
the pope says that doesn't have really anything to do with religion, is beyond stupid. Pedophilia priests, no problem. Two gay guys, married, not bothering anyone. that's terrible.

I find it interesting that a lot of other religions, mostly protestant, but also Episcopalian (is that a protestant religion? I don't really know) not only allow women to be priests but also allow gay and lesbian members to be welcome in their churches.

Right now in Michigan there is a catholic adoption agency that doesn't' want to adopt to gay and lesbian couples. Fine, then you don't take ANY money from the state. None.
