5. A gentleman of my acquaintenance brought bedbugs home after volunteering at a local charity.

The charity provides a place for homeless and needy to shower, receive mail, and make phone calls.
Volunteers also run the clothes of these needy ones through a washing machine and dryer.

This very good-hearted man transported (involuntarily) the bedbugs to his very comfortable home.
As a result, he had to discard upholstered living room furniture and bedroom pieces.
