time I made small charges with my credit card, no problem. When it came time to leave for the airport, I tried to use my credit card for the stay and it was blocked. I had a hell of a time getting a hold of the right person to straighten it out. I didn't know at the time what the phone number for my credit card customer service that could be used out of country.
