9. I wonder which players David White is referring to? All of them or just the big name stars.

The big names, like Mahomes, Rogers, Burrow, etc, are very much against it. The rank-and-file, not so much. They see the season as 20 games (3 preseason, 17 regular). The big name stars don't usually have to play in preseason. This is how the NFL got to 17 games. They offered a 20% increase in the minimum, which is over 50% of players, but didn't increase the number of games they played (still 20) and I suspect they'll do it again going from 3+17 to 2+18.
