Birders

The area is ringed on three sides by tall trees.

There are three owls that hang out there all the time. Three different kinds of owl.

The little guy, about 8 inches tall, is the loudest. Sounds like a woman screaming. The big one, 16-24 inches, is more The who-who type, but he screeches loud, too. Middle guy, 10-12 inches, is just loud and brown. They seem to meet up sometimes, there’s a big screaming match, and then all goes deathly quiet.

Very spooky.
