21. I heard that while he was announcing for the Sox, he and Jimmy Piersall didn't get along

Piersall once said to him "at least I have papers stating that I'm sane" or something to that effect.

I read about the affair in St. Louis on the internet. I can't imagine anyone having an affair with Harry Carey, even in his younger days.

I guess he was more colorful than anything else. I remember after he had that stroke, I felt that he should've retired instead of coming back to the booth. He just wasn't up to it. I remember while he was out, they had a lot of guest announcers in his place and one day it was Bill Murray. He was hilarious, so obviously biased toward the Cubs and dismissive of the opposing team.

I always liked Steve Stone, too. I was sad when he left.

I have Sirius XM and I listen to all the Cubs games. I like their radio announcers and I especially like when I hear someone cracking up in the background. But I like to hear the Cubs win most of all!
