but it seemed like a makable play. That's why Ben Revere was forced out at second base--he was running back to the bag to avoid getting doubled off, since it looked like an out.

Then again, the bases had been loaded on Cole Hammels, all on errors. The Rangers defense absolutely collapsed on him and after pitching a good game he wound up getting charged with the loss.

As for the Bautista home run, if there weren't runners on base it would have been a different at bat, with different pitches thrown. So we will never know whether or not he would have hit it.

But man....that was a spectacular blast he hit.
