9. Exactly. Room for debate as to who made the error.

The toss from 1b to p was weak and behind, but I think catchable, so i'd give the error to the pitcher. But yes, either way, he got to first on an error.

An unfortunate aspect is that if the first baseman hadn't made that great catch and the ball went past him into the outfield, it wouldn't have been an error. At least I think so. Not sure how they decide if it's an error is a fielder doesn't pull off a difficult catch or stop.
