Your frustration , but this is almost like a drug companies patent on a lifesaving drug that the company is making available for a million $ a dose … that’s why there are generics and that’s why there are aftermarket parts

Someone said on your original post that if the dash lights were coming on , then the key has to be working . And you said it would start a few times and then nothing . Don’t know if you meant ‘turn over a few times’
and not start , so the issue seems sorta cloudy .
I’m guessing it’s the battery in the fob . Right ?
And the searching on the web I did mentioned it needed about 30 hours of driving time to recharge the fob’s battery to full charge …

It’s definitely a conundrum
