but there is a short going on for sure. Sometimes I can smell the melting plastic. Of course it is very intermittent (and usually on a really hot day when I NEED the AC) so they couldn't even really look without a huge labor charge. I figured out I could get it started by banging on the console by the gas pedal just fine so will continue that until it finally quits altogether. By then it will be old enough I may try the repair myself. Plenty of You Tube vids out there. LOL
