"What a f--king idiot," he wrote.

Olbermann has since apologized.

"I apologize for being uninformed last night about the back story on this. I don't follow hoops, college or pro, men or women. I had no idea about Clark. Both were wrong," he announced.

Former ESPN host Keith Olbermann has apologized for what he said about Angel Reese.

The LSU Tigers star went viral for her taunting of Caitlin Clark in the final seconds of the NCAA Tournament national title game on Sunday evening.
