He was tickled that McClain played the organ, too.
Then SI had an article about him & it showed him playing his Hammond X-66.
He was making MLB level money (such as it was then) and paid all that money for a Hammond that didn't sound like a Hammond! What a waste of money.
Could have bought a Wurlitzer for a third of the money.
