I have a bad attitude about them.
I think they went 17-0 but were not great. Very good, not great.
They're timing was just ideal. Before NFC teams started to adjust to AFL style, especially their defenses, and before the Steelers hit their stride, Raiders were still in re-ascent, and Cowboys became good on both sides of the ball, they were fundamentally sound.
2 years later, and I don't think they get to the conference championship.
They are a most uninspiring team for doing something nobody else did.
And, since Morris was a convicted felon, perhaps he shouldn't have been the team's loudest spokesman.
