6. Iffy..the 4 majors have specific qualifying rules

Each major has its own specific rules.

For example, all previous masters champions are given lifetime allowance to enter. Winning the US open used to give a ten year exemption.

Most have rules like...the top 20 and ties from the US open, the top 15 from PGA, etc.

So. If they made the qualifying rules before they jumped ship, they will likely be allowed to play and keep playing each year they qualify, even if most of the year is in the LIV.

But miss the cutoff placement from another major and you would not be able to get in from being top xx in the world or PGA.
