Anyone catching 'Childhood's end'' on syfi? [View all]

I never thought the book was negative, as some do, but
was about transcendence in the next stage of human consciousness. So far the tv show looks promising to AC Clarke's vision but you know how that goes sometimes when hollywood gets a hold on a good story.

childhood's end from wikipedia, a pretty good piece on the novel, the author, the backstory and its publishing history.
