I tapped a BMW in a parking lot and offered to rub out whatever invisible bumper scratches there were.

Never heard back.

Next time, park as far from the store as you can, like the really expensive car owners do.

What I REALLY want to know is this:

I live in the foothills. There ain't nothing level anywhere here, so when I visit the valley, flat as an optical bench, why are the parking lots tilted? (I know, rain runoff) but just last weekend my cart started rolling away. I can run pretty fast for someone my age.

It ain't fair, I tell you.
