and it is a Wall Street oligarch that is pretty much singlehandedly funding rifle handgrip bans in this country.

Canada flirted with AWB's for a while as some of our protruding-handgrip hysteria leaked across the border, and they implemented a few restrictions, but nothing like CA/MA/CT. Canadians had the Tavor a long time before U.S. shooters did, and some very highly regarded AR-15's are made in Canada for the Canadian civilian market.
