For that statement to be included in the letter means we must eliminate the allowance of students to carry weapons as the reason for leaving.

The application and acceptance process at the school in Sydney, along with the housing and travel arrangements necessary, make a decision like this a process of time - time starting PRIOR to the armed carry controversy. The armed carry therefore is JUST AN EXCUSE.
