Does it seem that police are out of control? [View all]

Shooting unarmed people of color. Brutal beatings for men and women pulled over for minor traffic infractions. Cell phones are mistaken for handguns.
We can reduce those problems with simple and just laws that require every LEO involved in use of force to be drug tested. Just like any other group of people, police have drug problems. Next time you see a video on the news of a questionable use of force, take a look at the cop. Does the cop look to be a body builder? As a group I'd bet LEOs are at a greater risk of steroid use.
Push for laws that require automatic drug test of those involved in use of force and we will see a reduction in police brutality, unarmed citizens being shot and drugs and money being lost after police stops and arrest.
As a condition of employment it should be law. I worked for a large corporation and if there was an injury on the job, it was mandatory.
