Good points - yet after all, they are all sniveling, yellow cowards, from draft dodging Donny (grandson of a pimp) on down - would you expect anything else?

For a bunch of self-described patriots, it's actually pretty consistent: they pretty much all managed to avoid dragging their asses down to the recruiting office, despite coming of age in the eras they did...

Trump - born 1946, no military service.
Pence - born 1959, no military service.
McConnell - born 1942, five weeks active duty, honorable discharge, reportedly for health. Rumor is for "moral" reasons.
Grassley - born 1933, no military service.
Kavanaugh - born 1965, no military service.

Fortunate Sons, indeed.
