1. Some of the KKK murderers had to be tried twice to be sentenced at all. The charges were ....

depriving people of their civil rights to be alive in Federal court after being found not guilty in local courts. Sometimes being charged twice is the only way of getting justice. But in this case it seems like it is a true injustice.
