In response, across the country, campuses were occupied. That was very inconvenient for people who didn't give a shit that our own troops were killing us.

Also on May 15 1970 the Mississippi police decided to get in on a good thing and The Jackson State Massacre happened. As all the dead were non-white people, there was a lot less grieving done.
