1. That seems like a long flight time for the Concorde.

3hrs55min (and 12 seconds)! Sounds long to me.
To me, I would venture to say a normal flight time with today's jets might, at most, clock it at a little over 5 hours take or give depending on the weather. Another venture is the distance would be +/- 2500 mi at most. What I remember the most about the Concorde claim to fame (before the horrific tragedy on takeoff from Paris) were incredibly short flight times of well over 1000 miles per hour. Transoceanic trips were half the usual time with the Concorde. A flight time of close to 4 hours transcontinental seems long for that aircraft?
